erniepersich Posted August 7, 2014 Report Share Posted August 7, 2014 Does anyone have a solution for the 8" tail tire? The tubes from Desser are a 2.5-3 tube and seem to be of poor quality. We have gone 6 of them, all of them start leaking after a short period of time due to cracks in the tube. Per Desser these are the only tubes they have available. N441V Posted September 25, 2014 Report Share Posted September 25, 2014 My new Dresser tube failed before I was even able to mount it. Failure looks like a scalloping. New tube coming but I can see this getting expensive. There is a product that can be injected into the tube that will keep the shape but not sure of the loads that would be transmitted to the airframe, or if you could ever get it off the wheel again.
