Paul281 Posted May 21, 2004 Report Share Posted May 21, 2004 The EAA SWRFI was held May 14 and 15, 2004 and the turnout was looking poor due to heavy rains on Wednesday and Thursday. However Thursday afternoon and Friday cleared up to allow arrivals and although the finally numbers are still being calculated, the EAA estimates about 500 aircraft. Paul Bretanus NRC908 brought in his PT-22 N56026 S/N 1562 and Richard McAdoo attended with his PT-22 N53148 S/N 1630. Robbie Vajdos NRC 888 had to drive as the Stearman could not get off his popular "Flying V Ranch" due to the heavy rains and flooding. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
