How harmful is the lead in AVGAS to the bronze alloy valve guides and valve seats? If one wanted to add electric start to the K-55 what is the best way to do this? Thanks very much. Bernd Krebs Posted January 1, 2016 Report Share Posted January 1, 2016 regular gas is very toxic to the seats and you should look for a Bendix Y150 starter, very hard to find.
