bronco
Scott A few owners have used the orginal tail wheel spring in conjunction with a auto shock to handle the tail wheel. I believe the drawing came out a number of years ago in a west coast publication on Ryans. If no one comes up with a drawing maybe I can. This conversion does require some machine work. A lower bushing must be turned to replace the orginal auto bushing. An upper machine part screws to the top of the shock and matches the configeration of the orginal Ryan upper dimensions. The orginal Ryan spring is on top of the shock body and is contained by the machined upper.
