jesseeasudes Posted September 21, 2008 Report Share Posted September 21, 2008 Hello all, I recently caught a movie on TCM called "Women in the Wind" starring Kay Francis from 1939 You can read more about it on IMDB.com here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0032142/ It was about a women's air derby and to my great excitement had a Ryan ST. There were some great scenes showing it taking off and flying. In the movie it ended up cracking up and I truly hope those scenes were made with models instead of the full size plane! I really just lucked out seeing this movie but wanted to pass it along to an audience of like minded Ryan aficionados! This made me wonder about all the movies, books, tv shows, magazines, etc. that might contain these marvelous airplanes. If you know of any appearances, please share them here and perhaps we could make a list that will grow as we add things! Please list as much information as you have!
