Norm and Moe Justice (IRC262) hosted the July 15, 2005 monthly meeting of the Texas Antique Aircraft Association at their "Birdsnest Airstrip" near Covington, Tx. 15 aircraft managed to attend despite he threatening weather. These included an Antonov AN-2, Stearman, Bonanza, Cessna 120, Taylorcraft, Aeronca Chief, Citabria, Bellanca Viking, and Starduster 2. Norm had his flying Ryan PT-22 on display and his son Rick Justice (IRC788) had his PT-22 project on display as well. Bill Hughes (IRC643) handled the pancake flipping duties. Paul Bretanus (IRC908) and Richard McAdoo (IRC899) attended without aircraft due to heavy thunderstorms and flooding in both Houston and San Antonio. Bob Roth (IRC909) arrived about noon after driving back from Santa Paula, Ca. He had been to see Al Ball (IRC373) where he picked up his newly overhauled Kinner and Bill Hughes overhauled Kinner as well. I know both gentlemen are anxious to get their "Ryans Flying".

Thanks to Paul Bretanus (IRC908) for this submission.
